Every Film submitted will be watched by at-least 2 programmers. We're looking for Drama, Horror, Thriller, Comedy, Experimental, Music Video, and Documentary shorts!

HORROR and THRILLER films can also submit (seperately) to the newly launched Darkness Reigns Online Horror Film Festival, the winners of which will screen at not only the Big Easy International Film Festival, but our sister festival, the Beverly Hills Shorts Festival. The online festival is decided by audience votes online, so this is purely determined by the audience. Please visit the festival's website to get details about how and where to send your film. There are three locations specific to the online fest, where you will need to send your entry, depending on the time of the year. All other entries into the Big Easy International Film Festival should be sent to the address below.

Additionally, we are now accepting submissions into our ONLINE SERIES program. If you have a series on the internet, submit it to the Big Easy International Film Festival for possible inclusion in the ONLINE Shorts Program.

ALL submissions are sent to the California address listed, where our Program Manager will ship out to the festival's programmers.

Narrative Feature Film - All films over 60 Min ($45 Regular Deadline)
Documentary Feature Film - All Docs over 60 Minutes($45 Regular Deadline)

Darkness Reigns Online Horror Film Festival - Horror (every kind of horror) or Thrillers: $25 submission fee (no deadline). You can submit through the Big Easy International Film Festival's WAB account. If you are not going to submit to Darkness Reigns through WAB, please visit the online festival website: www.darknessreigns.com . The top 4-8 films (voted on by the online audience) will screen at not only the Big Easy International Film Festival, but also the 2011 Beverly Hills Shorts Festival. We do accept Horror and Thriller films through the normal submission process (if you don't wish to submit online but still want a chance at screening at the Big Easy) at which case, submit in the normal narrative category.
